Team WOD at Crossfit CU: Teams of two; one teammate rest while the other is active, switch whenever you want; 2 rounds of:
- Row for 3:00 (each calorie = 1 point)
- KB ground to overhead for 3:00 (1 point/rep)
- Over the box jumps for 3:00 (1 point/rep)
- Run 1 long loop (I’m guessing it’s about 250m), then rest until 3:00 has elapsed since start of the run (no points)
- Overhead walking lunge for 3:00 (1 point/rep)
- Partner assisted handstand hold for 3:00 (1 point/rep)
523 point total - not too shabby!
Brunch out with friends, brief rest at home, throw together what should be a fantastic veal stew for tomorrow (veal, carrots, onion, celery, parsnip, rosemary, bay leaf, sage), going away party, fantastic distance piece on the rower:
8000m - 6km @ 2:12.5/500m (1.5 sec/500m faster than 8k PR), 1.5k @ <2:10, 500m @ <2:00. 55.1 seconds faster than my 8k PR, which was set less than a month ago!
