Followup visit with the doctor yesterday - the road rash is healing well, and the hematoma has shrunk a bit, although it’s still really tender.  I’ve switched to a Tegaderm dressing for the time being, and we’ll see how that goes in terms of healing for the road rash. Elbow’s pretty much completely healed.  Hip, not so much.  I tried doing a medium-pace interval ride yesterday morning, which actually felt pretty good, but I was completely exhausted and in a good deal of pain by the middle of the day.  I went home after lunch time and promptly fell sound asleep on the sofa until dinner time.  This morning I woke up a bit sore, although not too bad. ...

Swelling’s most of the way gone - I think my leg’s still a bit swollen overall, but the large lump on my hip is mostly gone.  As you can see, the bruising is pretty ugly and has spread quite a bit - it’s currently running from just above my hip to about halfway down to my knee, and is now also most of the way around to the back of my thigh. 4th of July BBQ went quite well -...

Last night’s time trial went very well - 16MPH headwind for the second half of the time trial, and I was still only 22 seconds slower than my PR for the course!
