Ran 9.01 miles in 1 hour and 22 minutes and felt great. last hard run before Chicago, went *great* - negative splits on the 1600m repeats.
Did a cross training workout for 20 minutes.
Did a weights workout for 36 minutes and felt great. barbell complex - starting the taper for Chicago Marathon.
Did a cross training workout for 57 minutes and felt good.
I’ve got 99 problems, but running eighteen miles ain’t one.
Ran 18 miles in 2 hours and 53 minutes and felt great. another run at 7% slower than marathon pace, fantastic run, negative splits.
Ran 5.01 miles in 40 minutes and felt great. ~8k tune-up run in preparation for Chicago Marathon, ran almost entirely negative splits
Ran 5.04 miles in 51 minutes and felt alright. easy recovery run

Ran 6.94 miles in 1 hour and 8 minutes and felt great. fantastic recovery + speed run!
Ran 11.01 miles in 1 hour and 46 minutes and felt good. run went great - ran it ~7% slower than marathon pace, strong negative splits
Ran 8.25 miles in 1 hour and 19 minutes and felt tired. awful - felt very run down, cut run short. Allergies were really bad.
