Tomorrow will mark 3 months since Molly passed away. I was out on a run this morning before work, and wanted nothing more than to come home and hear Molly barking to be let out of her kennel while I was unlocking our front door. This is the last picture that we took of Molly before we took her in to be put to sleep. I’m at a loss for words right now.

Monday: AM - 15:00 core training PM - 1.5mi warmup, 4x1600m (7:12, 7:21, 7:33, 7:39) w/ 5:30 recovery, 1.5mi cooldown; 4 Sportlegs ~60:00 before workout, 1pkg Hammer Gel ~10:00 before workout. Training log + vegan steakhouse

Vegan bachelor dinner
Had a fantastic dinner tonight - sweet potatoes and a grilled tempeh and Teese sandwich (click through for details on the meal). Got to talk to Kathleen early this morning, did about 28 miles of relatively easy cycling, then chilled out with a dog at my feet for most of the rest of the day.

50:00 of core training this morning, followed by a cup of Mate, and an Acai Bowl (acai, soy milk, orange juice, creatine, flax meal, granola) for breakfast. Off to work, then gym, then seeing about getting a fixer-upper bike for commuting. Kathleen sounds like she’s doing well in Shanghai…Jenny and I miss her - 24 more days until I get to see her again!
